Purpose
Artesian oil-water pumps of the 20НА-22х3(1,2,4,5,6) type are designed for pumping and extracting oil and petroleum products from underground reservoirs. These fluids must have a density not exceeding 0.97×10³ kg/m³ and a kinematic viscosity between 0.01×10⁻⁴ and 0.8×10⁻⁴ m²/s, and may contain solid inclusions up to 0.2 mm in size with a volumetric concentration not exceeding 0.2%.
The temperature range of the pumped petroleum products is from 258 to 353 K (–15 to +80 °C), with a viscosity not exceeding 4×10⁻⁴ m²/s.
The pumps are manufactured in climate versions and placement categories: U1, U2, U3, UHL4, T2, T3, OM2, T5, in accordance with GOST 15150-69.
As part of a pumping unit (per GOST 27.003-90), these pumps are classified as general-purpose, type 1, repairable products.
The units are produced in general industrial explosion-proof versions and are intended for transferring petroleum products in explosion- and fire-hazardous industries and installations.
Design
The pump consists of three main components:
Pump section
Discharge column
Support stand (with the electric motor mounted on it)
The pump is centrifugal, sectional, vertical, with axial fluid inlet.
The pump section stator is assembled from stage casings and a suction nozzle, connected by studs.
Each stage casing includes a guide vane assembly with spatial blades ensuring axial flow into the next impeller.
Radial ribs in the suction nozzle prevent swirl before the first impeller.
Impellers are mounted on a vertical shaft using split conical sleeves and are largely relieved from axial forces. To reduce axial load, each impeller has 10 mm balancing holes.
Slide bearings are installed in each pump section and suction nozzle. They are lubricated by the pumped petroleum product.

Shafts: steel 30X13 (customizable based on operating conditions)
Hydraulic parts: cast iron
The number of intermediate shaft sections depends on the required immersion depth and are connected by threaded couplings with a thread direction opposite to the shaft rotation to prevent loosening.
The discharge elbow is built into the support stand and connects to the discharge pipeline.
Shaft sealing at the discharge elbow is either a mechanical seal or a stuffing box with soft packing.
