Purpose and Application
Submersible Artesian Oil-Water Pumps of the 12NA-22×6 (1,2,3,4,5) type are designed for pumping or draining oil and petroleum products from deep tanks. The pumped medium may have a density up to 0.97×10³ kg/m³ and kinematic viscosity from 0.01×10⁻⁴ to 0.8×10⁻⁴ m²/s, containing solid particles up to 0.2 mm in size with a volume concentration not exceeding 0.2%.
Operating temperature range: from 258 to 353 K (−15°C to +80°C), viscosity not more than 4×10⁻⁴ m²/s.
Pumps are manufactured in climate and placement categories U1, U2, U3, UHL4, T2, T3, OM2, T5 according to GOST 15150-69.
In compliance with GOST 27.003-90, these are general-purpose, repairable units of category 1.
Pump assemblies are supplied in explosion-proof industrial design, suitable for hazardous environments involving flammable and explosive fluids.
Design
The pump consists of three main assemblies:
Pumping section
Discharge column
Support stand with electric motor
The unit is a vertical, centrifugal, multistage sectional pump with axial fluid inlet.
The stator includes sectional casings and a suction pipe, fastened with tie rods.
The guide vanes in the casing ensure axial flow and reduce swirl. Impellers are mounted on a vertical shaft using split conical sleeves, and are hydraulically unloaded via 10 mm balance holes.
Slide bearings are installed in each pump section and suction pipe, lubricated by the pumped fluid.
Materials:
Shaft: 30X13 steel (alternatives available)
Bearings: Bronze
Flow path: Cast iron
The intermediate shaft length varies depending on immersion depth. Shafts are joined with threaded couplings in reverse rotation direction to avoid loosening.
Shaft seal: single mechanical seal or packed gland with soft packing.
